A mushroom that is considered poisonous, but it is very underestimated. Mushrooms have been used for medicinal purposes since ancient times. Due to its proven medicinal effect, the red amanita mushroom (Amanita muscaria) is officially included in the state pharmacopoeia. The caps of the red mushroom contain: muscarine, ibotenic acid, which during drying is decarbolized into muscimol. Unlike ibotenic acid, which is toxic to nerve cells, muscimol does not act on the nervous system as a sympathomimetic. Eating red amanita has a stimulating effect on the nervous system. To get acquainted with microdosing, the red fly agaric is recommended for starters.
