Morchella conica (lat. Morchella conica) Dried Structure The cap is 2-4 cm in diameter, elongated-conical or elongated-ovoid, along the edge it has grown to the stem, hollow, externally reticulated, covered with a regular network of longitudinal and transverse folds that give the cap a ribbed appearance, with elongated irregular cells of an almost rectangular shape, brown, brown, dark brown. Leg 2-4 x 1-1.5 cm, cylindrical, hollow, whitish-yellowish. The flesh is white, thin, tender, fragile, without pronounced smell and taste. Bags 8-spored, cylindrical. The spore powder is yellowish. Spores 18-20 x 12-14 microns, ellipsoidal, smooth, almost colorless. Practical use of Conditional-edible mushroom. Boil for 15 minutes before use. Drying It differs from edible wrinkle (Morchella esculenta) in the shape of the cap and the cells on it. It is similar to the common poison ivy (Gyromitra esculenta), from which it differs in the appearance of the cap. An ordinary wrinkle is characterized by a wavy-lobed head.
