The medicinal chamomile is an annual herbaceous plant with a strong aromatic smell. The stem is branched. The leaves are alternate, twice pinnately divided into linear lobes. The flowers are collected in baskets with a conical hollow flower head. Border flowers – white, lingual, female; middle flowers – yellow, tubular, bisexual. The fruit – oblong seed with 3 ribs, which does not have a fringe. Medicinal plant chamomile, the healing properties of which have long been well known to science, has a unique chemical composition. Its flowers contain free organic acids, vitamins, essential oil, tannins and flavonoids. Such a perfectly selected complex of chemical elements explains why the chamomile medicinal plant has such a good effect on the human body.
