Description

A shrub or tree 2-6 m tall. The stems are globose, have a thin woody shell and a white, porous, soft core. Young branches are green, then brown-gray with a large number of yellowish lenticels. Elderberry (Sambucus) USES Elderberry flowers are used in the treatment and prevention of colds and flu. They have a diuretic expectorant effect, contribute to increased sweating, preparations based on them are able to relieve fever, have anti-inflammatory and soothing effects, increase immunity in general.
