Tansy (Tanacetum vulgare L.) is a perennial herbaceous plant of the Asteraceae family, known for its bright yellow, button-like inflorescences and strong characteristic aroma. This popular folk remedy is widely used due to its medicinal properties and insecticidal action.
Main properties:
Antihelminthic action: An effective natural remedy that is traditionally used to combat intestinal parasites (roundworms, pinworms).
Choleretic effect: Biologically active substances in the composition of tansy increase bile secretion, which helps improve digestion and normalize liver function.
Anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial action: Decoctions and infusions have a pronounced anti-inflammatory and antiseptic effect.
Natural insecticide: The pungent odor and essential oils of the plant are used to repel various insects (moths, flies, bedbugs).
